I love to do  paintings and  drawings of  artwork that inspires people to be closer to each other and closer to God!

My name is Traci Douglass. I have loved to do art since I was a child. About 25 years ago, I felt a strong urgency to do inspirational artwork. I felt that I was supposed to create works of art that would bring people closer to each other and closer to God and since I loved God already it was an easy task to start but difficult to accomplish. It is hard to depict the Savior. I knew how I felt about Him but it was difficult to make a picture that radiated His love. I worked diligently for 10 years to no avail, trying to get the right look. One day I saw an artist that used erasers to draw with instead of pencil and right then I knew that this is the method I wanted to use to draw the Savior. I found it interesting that I was using erasers to bring the light of the Savior in the drawing. I thought how we have to (erase) or take out the worldly that is in us as we try to be more like Him, we will see Him more clearly. As I drew the Savior with these erasers, I could see His image come forward and I could feel of His love. It brought tears to my eyes! I love the Savior and I hope this picture of Him will bring His love into your life! He is there for you! He loves you and knows you by name!
